The 2020 QNMU Annual Conference will take place from 15 to 17 July 2020. 

 
Our Annual Conference is the democratic policy-making forum of the QNMU.
 
Decisions made at conference inform the direction of the union and its future activities. 
 
The decision-making structure of the QNMU is democratic and the participation of members is fundamental to our effective functioning. 
 
Annual Conference is made up of Councillors and Local Branch. Delegates who represent members from each local branch of the QNMU. Formal elections of branch delegate and alternate delegate positions are held every two years.

How can members have a say at conference? 

 
QNMU members, through their Local Branches, are encouraged to submit motions for the QNMU Annual Conference. Delegates to Annual Conference are expected to vote in accordance with decisions made by the Local Branch members they represent.
 
Additionally, members attending Annual Conference elect members to the QNMU Policy Committee which operates between Conferences to assist with the development of policies.
