Introduction to activism

Introduction to activism
Are there things you’d like to change in your workplace or community but you’re not sure how you can make a difference?

This two-hour session is your chance to learn about how being active in the QNMU can help achieve real outcomes for nurses and midwives.

You’ll learn about how you can work with the QNMU to take collective action to improve your work environment, and what being a union member in your workplace is all about. Hear stories of your fellow members winning in their workplace - there are countless examples of QNMU members working together and securing great outcomes.

Whether you work in Queensland Health, the private sector or aged care, come along and find out what union activism is all about.

This webinar will be delivered by Chris Doyle, QNMU Education Officer.
