Securing employment as an early career nurse or midwife can be difficult, however not getting into a new graduate/transition program is not the end of the world. There are many opportunities to explore with plenty of ways you can gain a job and contribute to your profession. This fact sheet has been developed for those who are registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and to date have been unsuccessful in obtaining a new employment position.
