Natasha Keir is a Nurse Practitioner in Breast Oncology with GenesisCare Queensland, recognised for her pioneering work in survivorship care and her commitment to advancing holistic, patient-centred models of support for people with breast cancer.
Identifying a significant gap in care for those living beyond active treatment, Natasha developed the nurse-led Breast Cancer Wellness Clinics – growing what began as a single pilot into seven clinics now operating across multiple GenesisCare centres, supported by a dedicated team of specialist breast nurses.
Her commitment to holistic care has most recently been strengthened through the completion of postgraduate studies in sexology, enabling a more integrated approach to sexual wellbeing within oncology practice.
Widely respected for her contributions to clinical education and her advocacy for patient-centred care, Natasha continues to push the boundaries of what oncology nursing can look like – for her patients, for her colleagues, and for the profession as a whole.
“Survivorship care is so much more than follow-up appointments. People living beyond breast cancer deserve support that addresses their whole experience – physically, emotionally, and intimately. That’s what drives everything I do.”
