Queensland Health and the Queensland Nurses and Midwives’ Union (QNMU) are delivering joint training for NUMs, MUMs and other line managers who have responsibilities for managing nurses or midwives.

From rostering and meal breaks to public holidays and flexible work arrangements… there are a lot of entitlements for nurse and midwife managers to be across – and being familiar with them all is an essential part of ensuring all nurses and midwives receive their correct industrial entitlements.

Training will be delivered online via Microsoft Teams, with each of the four modules delivered twice. While you do not have to attend every module, we encourage you to attend as many as you can.

This training is being delivered as an outcome of the Nurses and Midwives EB11 agreement, which was negotiated between Queensland Health and the QNMU.
