eligible for this course.

skills?
This advanced course builds on the foundations of Making a Difference:
The Role of the Workplace Representative to further develop your
leadership, strengthen your confidence, and equip you to mentor and support
others to step up in your workplace.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

advanced organising and recruitment strategies

develop
leadership skills to build capacity in the workplace
·
mentor
and support colleagues to take on representative roles
·
strengthen
collective approaches to solving complex workplace issues
create and implement long-term workplace action plans.
This is a 2-day course open to all QNMU members who have completed Making
a Difference: The Role of the Workplace Rep and provides 12 CPD hours.
As a specialist education session delivered by the peak professional and
industrial body for nurses and midwives in Queensland, this course meets the
requirements for Industrial Relations Education Leave (IREL). Please check your
IREL entitlements in your EB agreements and (if applicable) apply for this
leave as early as possible.
