The 2025 Members Summits, themed Reignite & Rejuvenate: Empowering Nurses and Midwives Now, will feature a dynamic lineup of high-profile guest speakers, industry experts, and inspiring leaders who have cultivated resilience and strength over time.
 
With a focus on nurturing resilience and empowering QNMU members, the summits will tackle the challenges of burnout and workplace pressures, offering tools and insights to help navigate today’s challenges.
 
Through thought-provoking presentations, we’ll explore strategies for self-care, rediscover strength in solidarity, and promote a renewed sense of hope and purpose within the QNMU membership.
 
Join us for the full day (6 CPD hours) and hear from:

- Keynote speaker Julie Goodwin – celebrity chef, published author and advocate for mental health and resilience

About Julie Goodwin
Julie Goodwin became a household name in 2009 as Australia’s first MasterChef winner, winning hearts with her warmth, humour and accessible cooking style.

She quickly became a familiar face on TV, including as a regular cook on the Today show, and went on to publish seven bestselling cookbooks, including Our Family Table and The Essential Cookbook. 

Her popularity also saw her become a long-time columnist for The Australian Women’s Weekly.

In recent years, Julie has become a passionate mental health advocate, openly sharing her own journey with anxiety and depression.

Her return to MasterChef in 2022 not only showcased her enduring culinary talent but also her courage in speaking out.

She now works with Beyond Blue to continue the conversation around mental health and resilience.

Julie’s 2024 memoir Your Time Starts Now is a raw and powerful account of her public and private highs and lows, offering inspiration
and hope to others.
