The 2025 Members Summits, themed Reignite & Rejuvenate: Empowering Nurses and Midwives Now, will feature a dynamic lineup of high-profile guest speakers, industry experts, and inspiring leaders who have cultivated resilience and strength over time.
 
With a focus on nurturing resilience and empowering QNMU members, the summits will tackle the challenges of burnout and workplace pressures, offering tools and insights to help navigate today’s challenges.
 
Through thought-provoking presentations, we’ll explore strategies for self-care, rediscover strength in solidarity, and promote a renewed sense of hope and purpose within the QNMU membership.
 
Join us for the full day (6 CPD hours) and hear from:

- Keynote speaker Rachael Lynch OAM – Hockeyroo, nurse, and advocate for mental health and resilience

About Rachael Lynch
Rachael Lynch OAM OLY is a veteran Hockeyroo, dual Olympian, and Commonwealth Games gold medallist who has played over 230 games for Australia.

As goalkeeper, she made her Olympic debut at Rio 2016 and starred in Tokyo 2021, conceding just two goals across six games.

A standout performer, she was named Goalkeeper of the Tournament at the 2014 World Cup and won the International Goalkeeper of the Year award in 2019.

Off the field, Rachael is a registered nurse, founder of STOMP Goalkeeping, and a passionate mental health advocate, serving as an ambassador for R U OK? Day.

In 2021, she was inducted into the World Olympians Association’s Olympians for Life program and elected to the Australian Olympic Committee’s Athletes’ Commission, where she helps shape policy from an athlete’s perspective.

In 2024, Rachael was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in recognition of her outstanding service to the sport of hockey.
