Queensland Health is proposing a new Patient Safety Staff Escalation Pathway to provide all Queensland Health staff with a consistent, streamlined and transparent process for initiating an investigation into a patient safety concern. Concerns relate to any matter where there’s potential or actual harm to a patient or consumer. The harm can be physical or psychological, or both.

Nurses and midwives are invited to have their say on the proposed Patient Safety Staff Escalation Pathway and provide any feedback.

The online survey takes approximately 5 minutes to complete, and closes at 5pm on Friday 3 March 2023.
