I was five years old when I was given a nurse’s uniform dress-up kit as my birthday present.
From the moment I put the uniform on I knew this is what I wanted to do.
I worked hard at school, then straight to university and have been nursing now for 20 years.
And I love it!
I love caring and helping the people of my community.
I often get told by patients that I have a beautiful caring nature and make them feel safe when they are at their most vulnerable.
That’s how I know I make a difference.
