Organising and Professional Services

The Organising and Professional Services function consists largely of nurses and midwives who work collaboratively with the cross-functional teams including industrial and work health & safety to include the professional interests of members and align our campaigns with the strategic aims of the organisation.

Member and Specialist Services

The Member and Specialist Services function is made up of four teams that provide our members with support on workplace and industrial issues through Member Representation and Enterprise Bargaining.

Campaigning and Communications

The Campaigning and Communications Teams are dedicated to transformational activism and keeping members informed and engaged with industry news, campaigns, events and activities with the QNMU and the community.

People, Strategy & Research

The People Strategy and Research function support teams engaged in the core work of the QNMU that includes developing and reviewing policy initiatives which support the QNMU’s strategic and operational objectives, supporting QNMU employees throughout their employment lifecycle and responding to the ongoing and increasing delivery of quality services, products and programs to our members.

Business Services

The Business Services function is made up of eight key teams who contribute to the efficient operations of statewide QNMU facilities from IT system maintenance, record and database management to financial activities and whole of QNMU administration support.
