Nicola Hall

I became a nurse because I was in a computer programming course when I was unable to submit an assignment on time because I was caring for a sick friend.
My lecturer asked me if I wanted to be a computer programmer or a nurse.
I pondered that question very seriously and thought it was a terrific suggestion.
I certainly felt better helping my friend than being a programmer.
I have now been a nurse for 35-plus years and have never regretted my career path change.
