Request for Representation

A Request for Representation (RfR) is a request for assistance if you need help with a workplace issue that you have not been successful in resolving.

Don't leave it too late to join! Every day, the QNMU is contacted by nurses and midwives seeking support after they have had a workplace issue. You need to have been a financial member of the QNMU at the time of an event or incident to be eligible for assistance with professional indemnity insurance, dismissals, show cause, assaults, injuries at work or Ahpra or OHO matters. If your workplace issue did occur prior to joining us we can still assist with advice by calling Member Connect.

Workload Resources

To ensure action is taken on workload issues nurses and midwives need to be active at the health facility and local level. In this section you will find resources that can help you and your colleagues identify and report workload issues in your workplace.

QNMU Legal Support

Financial members of the QNMU receive free legal advice and representation for work-related issues.
